College of Health Careers keeps giving professionals to the community

Health Career Graduation Ceremony Students

The Graduation is scheduled for this Thursday March 19, 2015 at 2:00 P.M., at the Yuma Civic Center

The Regional Center for Border Health, Inc. /College of Health Careers is giving another group of well-prepared Health field professionals to the Yuma County community, since is celebrating a Graduation Ceremony where 28 students will be ready to start a new step on their lives.

According to Ines Pampara, Director of Health Professions & Training Development of the College of Health Careers, the Graduation is scheduled for this Thursday March 19, 2015 at 2:00 P.M., at the Yuma Civic Center located at 1440 West Desert Hills Drive, in Yuma.

This time, there will be 9 students graduating from Certified Nurse Assistant (CAN), 4 students from Phlebotomy (PHLE), 9 students from Medical Officer Specialist (MOS) and 6 students from Caregiver Program (CARE).

The Graduation Ceremony will have Mr. Mark Ballinger, Director of Clinical & Curriculum Development as the Keynote Speaker, after a welcome by Ms. Amanda Aguirre, President and CEO of the RCBH.

A message will be addressed by the students Jesus Chavez from MOS, Allison Tashlik from the CNA, Bernice Garcia from PHLE, and Noemi Magana from CARE.

The Regional Center for Border Health, Inc. /College of Health Careers is licensed by the Arizona State Board for Private Postsecondary Education, approved by the Arizona State Board of Nursing, Arizona Board of Nursing Care Instruction Administrators and Assisted Living and accredited by the Accrediting Bureau of Health Education Schools.

The RCBH/College of Health Careers is a member of the Academy Association of Professional Coders (AAPC) and the National Network of Libraries of Medicine.
